Christantus Uche Ignites Dominant Crystal Palace Win at Shelbourne.

Missing star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually guarantees them a spot in the Conference League qualifying rounds.

A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS ought to be sufficient to seal straight passage to the last 16, particularly following a prior stumble against Strasbourg.

Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw several players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.

The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a glaring chance, indicating there is still scope for improvement in his game.

The only worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
